How to Write Single Line Text in AutoCAD?

The single line text tool is available in the text dropdown in the annotation panel of the home tab or the annotate tab of the river. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use it:

  1. Click on the single line text tool.
  2. Specify the start point of the text by clicking on the desired location.
  3. Define the height of the text using the cursor or by entering a value manually (e.g., 30 units).
  4. If needed, provide a rotation angle for the text (e.g., zero degrees).
  5. Write the text within the text window that appears.
  6. Click anywhere outside the window and press Escape to get out of the command.

Tips:- You can change the properties of the single line text, such as size, rotation angle, oblique angle, etc., by selecting the text, right-clicking, and going to Properties > Text.
- The modification tools also work on the text you have created. To move or copy the text, select it and use the appropriate command.
