Hello and welcome to this video learning series of AutoCAD. Today we will learn how to create text styles in AutoCAD.
Text styles help you maintain consistency across your designs by applying the same formatting (font, size, color) throughout a project or even multiple projects. They save time and ensure professional-looking results.
AutoCAD offers two predefined text styles: Educative and Standard. You can also create custom text styles according to your specific needs.
This style is useful for technical or educational content, featuring a clear and simple font.
The Standard style is ideal for general use, offering a more standard font that can be adjusted as needed.
Annotative text styles are particularly useful for creating text that scales based on the drawing scale. To create an annotative text style, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Annotate tab.
2. Click on the Text panel's down arrow.
3. In the Text Style dialog box, select the Annotative Text Style (Educative or Standard).
4. Set your preferred properties (font, size, color, etc.).
5. Click Apply and Close to save your changes.
Text styles help streamline your design process and maintain consistency in your work. Experiment with the predefined styles or create custom ones to suit your needs. If you found this tutorial helpful, don't forget to subscribe to our channel for more AutoCAD tips and tricks!
